Second Cycle
The one-year study in the II cycle is organized according to the adopted 4+1+3 model. The curriculum envisages taking 5 compulsory and 2 optional subjects (40 ECTS points in total), and preparing and defending the final thesis (20 ECTS points). Successful defense of the final thesis results in the title of Master of Laws.
Enrollment in the study is done on the basis of a public competition announced by the Teaching and Research Council of the University, at the proposal of the Teaching and Research Council of the member, no later than 30 days before the start of classes.
The right to enroll in the one-year study of the II cycle is granted to persons who have completed the corresponding undergraduate study/study of the I cycle lasting four years with 240 ECTS credits.
Curriculum of the II cycle for 2011/12. year was conceived in such a way as to ensure the realization of set goals and the achievement of planned learning outcomes. It is aimed at the scientific and professional training of lawyers, especially those who work in the judiciary, economy, financial institutions and scientific institutions.

In the academic year 2009/2010. In 2008, the regional postgraduate study "Business Law of the European Union" was organized at the Faculty.
In 2006/07, the faculty In 2008, he also organized a Postgraduate study under the title of European integration and transition of the legal system in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The holder of the postgraduate study is the Faculty of Law of the University "Džemal Bijedić" in Mostar. In the organization of studies, the Faculty cooperated with Law Faculties from Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Republic of Croatia and the Republic of Italy (Universita' Carlo Cattaneo - LIUC, Castellanza), as well as with representatives of international institutions and organizations engaged in projects relevant to the postgraduate study program.
From the academic year 2011/2012. In 2008, the second cycle of studies was organized at the Faculty - majoring in civil law, area of European law.
From the academic year 2018/2019. The Faculty offers the second cycle of studies "Legal Informatics". The study program "Legal Informatics" lasts one academic year, with 60 ECTS credits. It is carried out in the II cycle of studies, with the fact that the study is designed in such a way as to enable further education in the field at higher education institutions in BiH and the EU. The status of a student in the second cycle of studies "Legal Informatics" is acquired by enrolling in the first year/first semester of studies. All persons who have completed a four-year university education in the field of law, business informatics and information technology have the right to participate in the competition. Study costs are 1,600, 00 KM (800.00 KM per semester). After completing the second cycle of studies "Legal Informatics", the title: Master of Legal Informatics is obtained.
