The 8th International Scientific Conference "Days of Family Law" was held at the Faculty of Law
Na Pravnom fakultetu održan 8. međunarodni naučni skup "Dani porodičnog prava"
On 12.11.2020. in the organization of the Faculty of Law of the University "Džemal Bijedić" in Mostar and the German Foundation for International Legal Cooperation (IRZ), the 8th International Scientific Conference "Days of Family Law" was held.
The central theme of this year's meeting was "Family law in the era of globalization". The family today faces numerous difficulties and problems in order to fulfill the assumed functions and the expected role. Changes are taking place at a high speed in all segments of contemporary society and have significant consequences for the state, development, role and place of the family in society. Undoubtedly, the most significant phenomenon of our time is globalization. The impact of globalization on the family and its relationships was discussed during the meeting.
This year's international scientific meeting was attended by scientists, teachers and associates from universities from Mostar, Sarajevo, Tuzla, Zenica, Maribor, Zagreb, Kragujevac, Banja Luka, as well as legal experts (notaries, lawyers and associates in state/entity institutions).
The meeting was held online, through the Microsoft TEAMs platform, due to the epidemiological situation caused by the Covid-19 virus pandemic.
