The 6th international scientific conference Family Law Days was held

The 6th International Scientific Conference Family Law Days "Property Law Aspects of Family Relations", organized by the Faculty of Law of the University "Džemal Bijedić" in Mostar and the German Foundation for International Legal Cooperation/IRZ, was held in Mostar at the "Eden" Hotel on Thursday and Friday. April 19 and 20, 2018. This scientific gathering is a continuation of the cooperation between the academic community and legal practitioners, established at the previous five scientific gatherings, and mutual cooperation between legal and other faculties in the country and abroad. The program of the scientific meeting follows the established concept of a combination of presentation of the latest scientific and practical knowledge, interactive discussion and other forms of exchange of experiences. Numerous legal theoreticians and practitioners participated in the work of the meeting, both from the country and a significant number from the region. The theme of this year's scientific meeting, entitled "Property aspects of family relations", is interdisciplinary in nature, since it combines numerous and complex legal issues from family, real, obligation, inheritance, procedural and other branches of law. The scientific review of current normative solutions of various aspects of property relations in the family within the framework of national, European and international law aimed to identify theoretical and practical problems in their application, as well as to consider and offer possible answers to certain open questions. The gathering of the academic community, legal practitioners and other experts in the framework of a comprehensive, argumentative and constructive discussion on property law issues in family relations contributed to the creation and systematization of concrete proposals for the improvement of existing and the introduction of new legal institutes that directly or indirectly regulate this area of family relations.
