7th international scientific conference Days of Family Law
7. međunarodni naučni skup Dani porodičnog prava
The 7th international scientific meeting Family Law Days "Protection of human rights as a driving force for the development of family law" was held at the Faculty of Law on September 26 and 27, 2019. The meeting was organized by the Faculty of Law of the University "Džemal Bijedić" in Mostar and the German Foundation for International Legal Cooperation/IRZ, and it represents a continuation of the cooperation between the academic community and legal practitioners, established at the previous six scientific meetings, and mutual cooperation between legal and other faculties in the country and abroad.
During the welcoming speeches, the dean of the Faculty of Law Alena Huseinbegović, rector of the University 'Džemal Bijedić' Elvir Zlomušica, minister of education, science, culture and sports of the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton Rašid Hadžović, and associate of IRZ in BiH Žana Gojačić addressed the attendees. The referees of this year's meeting are scientists, teachers and associates of the law faculties of the Universities of Mostar, Zenica, Tuzla, Banja Luka, Kragujevac, and the Universities of Zagreb, Rijeka and Maribor.
The main goals of the conference are to improve theory, legislation and practice in the field of family and other related law through the exchange of experiences and research results contained in papers and discussions, and to contribute and encourage further research and scientific treatment of legal science in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
