Proceedings Days of Family Law
The Faculty of Law of the University "Džemal Bijedić" in Mostar, as part of its publishing activity, publishes Proceedings from the international scientific conference Days of Family Law. The partner of the Faculty of Law in organizing the scientific conference and publishing the Proceedings is the German Foundation for International Legal Cooperation/IRZ.
The program of the scientific meeting follows the established concept of a combination of presentation of the latest scientific and practical knowledge, interactive discussion and other forms of exchange of experiences. This is the only meeting in the region that is dedicated to the issue of family law, which is why it arouses the great interest of eminent scientists from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia and Germany. In addition to legal theoreticians, teachers and associates of law and other faculties, proven experts from practice, judges of municipal and cantonal courts, lawyers, notaries, ombudsmen, lawyers and social workers from centers for social work and administrative bodies are also included in the work of the group.
The Faculty of Law, in cooperation with the German Foundation for International Legal Cooperation/IRZ, has published eight Proceedings by 2020:
- Proceedings of the Days of Family Law "Family Law - from National to European" (2013),
- Proceedings of Days of Family Law "The best interest of the child in legislation and practice" (2014),
- Proceedings of Days of Family Law "Legal means to reduce child poverty" (2015),
- Proceedings of Days of Family Law "Legal protection of adults" (2016),
- Proceedings Days of Family Law "Echoes of the practice of the European Court of Human Rights in national family rights" (2017),
- Proceedings of Days of Family Law "Property aspects of family relations" (2018),
- Proceedings of Days of Family Law "Protection of human rights as a driving force for the development of family law" (2019),
- Proceedings of the Days of Family Law "Family Law in the Era of Globalization" (2020).
The Editorial Board of the Proceedings is appointed every year by the Academic Council of the Faculty of Law.
Contributions from the Proceedings "Days of Family Law" are referenced in the EBSCO database.
