TEMPUS project: "Equal opportunities for students with special needs in higher education"

The main goal of the project is to improve access, realization of needs and rights and improve (facilitate) the mastering of material for students with special educational needs at all public universities in BiH.

The aim of the project is to support BiH universities in improving the quality and modernization of higher education, which should be made available to all students. This implies providing support to BH universities in improving the quality and modernization of higher education through the creation of institutional capacities and the development of policies and practices that will enable all students to study at BH universities. The stated goals correspond to European standards, the goals of the Bologna Process, the Lisbon Declaration and the goals of the Framework Law on Higher Education in BiH. It is planned that the project, in which all public universities in BiH are involved, will last 3 years, and one of the final outcomes is the establishment and operation of the Office for the support of students with special needs, which would operate at each university. The implementation of the project began in November 2012.
